Product Description

This new common rail high pressure test kit allows you to carry out a in depth diagnosis of the system,
As it comes equipped with the following 3 sets combined into one kit

  • Common rail high pressure gauge and hoses to connect to most popular systems
  • Set of 8 dummy regulators
  • Fuel rail blanking plugs set

This kit allows you to check the common rail pressure and then if you have a issue with pressure not building you can blank out the injectors one by one and or fit a dummy regulator if you suspect a issue with the pressure or volume control valves

Common Rail High Pressure Tester 2000 Bar

Analogue high pressure tester with various connection lines for checking the high pressure pump / high pressure system when cranking or running.
(Note this kit is mainly designed for putting on the vehicle and taking the readings during cranking, it can also be used to check pressures when the engine is running but not for extended periods, or at the full pressure range for extended periods.  It is recommended to only leave on the vehicle when running for a couple of minutes)

Gauge scale Reads from 0-2000 bar.

The tester has a built in pressure release valve that limits the max pressure to approx. 1500 bar to prevent damage to the gauge or the vehicle.

The tester is provided with three sets of ultra flexible hoses allowing you to connect up to difficult positions.

As most modern common rail vehicles produce a pressure in excess of 1300 bar this is an essential tool for the correct diagnosis of common rail vehicles.

The gauge can be connected in series between the high pressure pump and the fuel rail or between the fuel rail and injectors.

Additionally the gauge can be connected directly to the high pressure pump with the rest of the system disconnected. This tests specifically the pump and control valve on there own.

Includes:

  • 0-2000 bar gauge
  • 2 x High pressure hose M12x1.5 / M12x1.5
  • 2 x High pressure hose M12x1.5 / M14x1.5
  • 1 x High pressure hose M12x1.5 / M14x1.0 (extended sealing cone)
  • 1 x High pressure hose M12x1.5 / M16x1.0 (fits CP4 pumps)
  • 2 x Hose fitting adaptors M12x1.25
  • 2 x Hose fitting adaptors M14x1.25
  • Over pressure dump bottle and hose

Dummy regulators

This set of 8 dummy regulators for the common rail high pressure pump allows the user to determine if the fault is the regulator or the pump
The dummy regulator kit tricks the common rail pump into producing maximum pump pressure
Works with the following pumps

  • Delphi DFP1 & DFP3
  • Bosch CP1, CP3 & CP4
  • Denso HP1, HP2 & HP3
  • Siemens DCP type 1 & 2

Fuel rail blanking plugs

Fuel rail blanking plugs allowing you to blank out each cylinder one by one when checking the common rail fuel pressure in a non-start situation.

Includes : 3 different sizes

  • 6 x M12 x 1.5
  • 6 x M14 x 1.5
  • 6 x M14 x 1.0

Also see part number JOCR1600AK. This is an add on kit to allow blanking of the injector side of the pipe for when the fuel rail is difficult to reach and also for the Bosch type fuel rail with fine threads and deep seating which the blanks wont suit.
