We are an independent workshop with a busy parts and tools distribution centre. If successful your role would consist of service manager and performing vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics. Your mornings and evenings would consist of organising jobs and parts for 2 to 3 mechanics and dealing with workshop customers with the help of management. The remainder of your day would consist of completing diagnostics, repairing and servicing vehicles. This is the ideal job for someone who would have an interest in managing a workshop or who would like some variety of switching between the two.
Key responsibilities:
· Conduct diagnostic work and routine checks on vehicles.
· Conduct routine maintenance and other work on vehicles.
· Work with other colleagues where needed to help complete work.
· Organise parts for the workshop team every day to ensure they have the parts required to complete jobs. (This is done using our easy to use system which training will be provided).
· Talk with customers in person or over the phone about recent work or to book in their car for general or further work.
· Create estimates for customers using our easy to use systems.

Requirements:
· We require a fully qualified mechanic who is interested in also taking on the role of service manager.
· Hold a full driver’s licence.
· Have good organisation skills.
· Have good communication skills.
· Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.
· Training will be provided on systems and processes to allow you to complete your day to day work smoothly.
